July-in everyway, it's cool!

So it is a rather cool start to summer--- but I quite love the springlike days- birds, mist, occasional downpour but always long-light days...
Am keeping very busy with drop-in folks and as well I have been going to Chris Wootton's studio for myself a couple of days a week- enjoying the stimulation of other artists and her most amazing studio! There I have focussed on painting in oil; although I have done a few paintings in oil, I still feel like a novice and am eager to learn a lot more (going to learn quite a lot more I hope in France this Sept!!!).
It is also World Watercolour Month! Check this out for amazing daily watercolour paintings by people all over the globe...
