Happy New Year!

Returned home New Year's Eve after a fabulous Christmas vacation--rested and ready for 2015!
Happy to return to the studio, editing photos, building some flat file storage (with the help of the 'son-in-laws'!), planning the upcoming classes and connecting with friends and students.

While in the "Mayan Riviera" I tried to paint at least one little postcard-sized watercolour a day; here I am painting the 'Temple of Venus' at Chicken-Itza. You can see the rest of the paintings at Travel Sketches-Mexico

Am reviewing some of my favourite watercolour artists' sites for new ideas for my courses-- like to change things up -- and deciding on subjects suited to winter for the 'applied projects'... 
Also hope to get back to my easel and finish up a few of the acrylic and oil paintings that are close to completion.
