Jingle and Mingle

Such a busy time... albeit a creative and invigorating time. I love the Christmas season, mainly for the lights and warmth of social gatherings, but I also get jags of nostalgia for those long ago times and people who are no longer with us.

The Painter's Lodge winter events were lovely. Such a beautiful venue, and the Gatsby Gala was a lot of fun, not nearly as stressful as it could have been.... I'll post a pic of my painting "Gatsby at Painters" , and Stephenie's "The Great Catsby" as they were being painted during the evening. They were auctioned off at the end of dinner--- a great fundraiser for CR Association for Community Living.

Studio news:

Still many folks are coming to studio drop-ins: doing Christmas cards and other lovely watercolours!!
Such a talented and fun group of artists!!

Last weekend I took an enjoyable workshop with Jewel Buhay on Alcohol Inks on Tile. Fun!!!

This Friday we will toast our creativity and good fortune (living the artistic life!) at a 'Artworks Party" Hopefully there will be room for us to do a painting, after nibbling and noshing....
