Today for the first time it feels like the seasons have turned- after that amazing summer, the wind and rain has returned and the leaves are colouring up and swirling! I might have to light my wood stove... Today is also the last day for the Autumn Salon Exhibition at the Federation Gallery in Vancouver (Granville Island). One of my pieces, "Reflective Fall" is at the show. Next week the new exhibition "Scenes from Western Canada" is starting and one of my works was accepted into it- "Skypool" oil 36 x 48-. Wish I could get over to the opening reception on Thursday, but appreciate being able to view these shows online at the Federation of Canadian Artists website: http://www.artists.ca Tomorrow the fall watercolour classes begin here at my studio. What fun! Added an evening class for beginners- beginning Monday Sept.21 6:30 - 9:30- for 6 weeks (no class on Thanksgiving Monday). let me know if you are interested or just show up!!
